As a girl who has “influencer” status with some brands, as well as a general consumer, I get a lot of free samples for skincare and makeup products. Most of the time, I honestly just let them sit for a couple weeks in my bathroom after receiving them. If the mood strikes me I’ll try one out, but most of the time they just end up in the trash.

I have been thinking about trying a Rent the Runway subscription for a while now, and a month or so ago I finally did it! If you don’t know, Rent the Runway is a site where you can rent thousands of designer clothes, bags, shoes, and accessories for a fraction of their retail value, the only catch is that you can’t keep them. Of course you can rent individual items, but what I was most interested in is their subscription service, a membership that gives you access to all of their styles every month.

Since I started blogging and working a full time office job, I spend more time in front of a computer than ever (and more than I would like to admit). Especially during my first week of work, I was experiencing some head aches and tired eyes by the end of the day.
I would like to add, I think sitting in front of my computer screen, all-day contact wear, and not drinking enough water (whoops) are all factors into the headaches.
I have heard so much about blue light glasses that I thought I would try them out.

For the most part, I like to fill my closet with things that are classy, elegant, and timeless, especially if I’m spending anything more than $50 on a given item. As I’ve grown to develop more of my personal style I have found that what’s considered “trendy” isn’t always what I have any interest in wearing.
