For as long as I can remember, my family has said they see a lot of my Nanny in me. That I look like my Keaveny side. I don’t know if that’s the reason or just a coincidence but I’ve always felt a special connection to my grandmother. I look up to her, admire her humor and grace, and have always felt blessed to be compared to her.

For most, the first sports that come to mind are team oriented like basketball, baseball and football. Although they may not be the first ones you think of, there are plenty of awesome sports where athletes compete individually: gymnastics, track and field, diving, golf, and swimming, just to name a few.
